It is 100% illegal to offer services as an electrician or data cabler in Queensland without being licensed and endorsed by the appropriate organisations and registration bodies. Our Electrical Contractors Licence Number is 90211, and Open Cablers Registration Number is 048361.

14 data links and 6 security cameras and 3 power points and data cabinet cabled and installed in one day. Cables are installed in roof space up high so that they won’t be disturbed or walked on when crawling around.
Josh is taking a minute to relax in a cramped Morayfield roof space in between installing some cabling.
After a long night of tracing a faulty cable Brendan and Josh located a buried cable connection that close the case. The underground wiring was proven to be compromised after we disconnected it at this crusty old connection.
Don’t forget to compare the airflow of your exhaust fan. This exhaust fan has enough airflow to hold up 2 pieces of 3 ply.

We had a commercial client today who had us replacing lights in their fire escape tunnels to
illuminate the escape path. It’s rare that a person needs to be in these escape passageways and so it’s easy to overlook the lighting maintenance, but critical that the lighting is functioning on the rare day that it’s needed.
Shoutout to @combinedtrades who had us help with the electrical for a lovely bathroom renovation in Caboolture last week. We especially liked the modern Bathroom 3-in-1 heater fan light that the owner supplied which has a quiet inline fan motor.
My Dad was a lifetime member of Master Electricians Australia and I followed his advice and joined before I completed our first job as a licensed and insured Electrical Contractor.

While not every ‘sparkie’ business is going to be a good fit for every job/client, all of us (who want to stay around for the long game) should be able to tick these boxes. If we don’t tick them all, keep searching because we’re out there!

Josh just installed this 85inch TV in the living room for our Client in Morayfield followed by a smaller 55inch TV in the office for our Client’s husband.
We also ran Ethernet wired connections to both TVs so that the WIFI doesn’t get bogged down when watching subscription services.

Replacing an outgrown small data cabinet at 4am in Caboolture. Then at 9am, repairing a faulty Bird control device (scaring away pigeons from the delivery dock). Not to mention the lighting repairs at 12pm but I forgot to take a photo of that one 😝
