The Challenge

Client bought a Model 3 but their existing switchboard couldn’t handle a 32A charger. They wanted to charge from excess solar during the day, not pull from the grid at night.

Upgraded switchboard to 3-phase, installed Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 with smart meter integration. Configured load management so the charger throttles when the pool pump or AC kicks in. Charged from 100% solar between 10am–2pm.
